Town Council Resolution 45 1983TOWN OF SNOWMASS VILLAGE TOWN COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 45 SERIES OF 1983 A RESOLUTION GRANTING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT NO. 4, SERIES OF 1983, TO THE ASPEN CAMP SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF FOR THE USE OF THE DIVIDE PARKING LOT FOR THE ANNUAL DEAF CAMP PICNIC. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 19, Series of 1980, provides for the Town Council to review all applications for the temporary use of certain zone districts; and WHEREAS, the Town Council has received an application from the Aspen Camp School for the Deaf to use the Divide Parking Lot for their annual fund raising event, the Deaf Camp Picnic, on Sunday, July 3, 1983; and WHEREAS, the application is in compliance with the policies and regulations of the Town and not violative of applicable state, county and federal laws; and WHEREAS, the applicant has presented the Town Council with proof of insurance has agreed to indemnify the Town against all claims and losses and such documents are on file; and WHEREAS, a public hearing on said application was held before the Town Council on June 6, 1983; and WHEREAS, the Town Council wishes to support the efforts of the Aspen Camp School for the Deaf. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado: Section One. That the Town Council does hereby grant a Temporary Use Permit to the Aspen Camp School for the Deaf for the use of the Divide Parking Lot for the Annual Deaf Camp Picnic on Sunday, July 3, 1983. Section Two. That this Permit is granted for the date specified above and will be subject to a review of the impacts of such an event on the Town and the Divide Lot prior to considering a similar application in the future. INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado on this 6th day of June 1983, by a vote of 6 to 1 Councilmember Francis was opposed.
