Town Council Resolution 32 1983TOWN OF SNOWMASS VILLAGE TOWN COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 32 SERIES OF 1983 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A BUILDING AS HAVING HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE. WHEREAS, the Town Council has received a request to consider the designation of one of the existing buildings in the Hoaglund Ranch area as historically significant; and WHEREAS, such designation will enable the building to be dismantled and reconstructed in the area of the Anderson Ranch Arts Center as employee housing; and WHEREAS, the Town Council has heard the comments of staff and other interested parties relating to the historical significance of the building in question. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado: Section One. That the log building currently occupied by Insignia House located on the site known as the Hoaglund Ranch is hereby determined to have historical significance on account of its design, materials, age and connection to the use and operation of the original Hoaglund Ranch and accordingly, the reconstruction and occupancy of the building should be allowed to occur consistent with such designation. INTRODUCED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado on this 21st day of March, 1983, by a vote of 6 to 0 .
